The program requires young ladies who desire to be a scholarship recipient; in addition to daily development and weekly deliverables are required to attend monthly workshops on Saturday which run approximately 3-4 hours. During each session, the mentee participates in various activities (facilitated by credentialed experts) geared around pertinent life-skills that are educational and fun! Scheduled activities include; however, not limited to, the following: Financial Literacy, College Preparation (Readiness), Social Responsibility, Social Decorum, Etiquette Training, Health and Wellness and more.   Real life experience sessions (as scheduled) include visits to hospitals, hotels, banks, college campuses, and corporations. Our youth-serving women’s civic organization annually raises funds through grants, cultural events and other activities.  Our signature event has provided over $100,000 in scholarships to help with college entrance fees, tuition and related college expenses to over fifty (50) well deserving young women who reside in and/or have roots from the Coconut Grove area.
